With just a few days to go, Alexandra Palace is looking like it's going to be another great one.
With more dealers booking space every day, this looks like it could our our biggest and best yet. More dealers mean more to items choose from, on top of an already wide range of items, including furniture, silver, glassware, ceramics, jewellery, objet d'art, toys, medals, postcards and much, much more.
Joining us at Alexandra Palace will be the team from BBC's Bargain Hunt, filming some more programs, like the two shown a few weeks ago.
Celebrity Auctioneer & Valuer Joins The Ally Pally Team
We are proud to announce that James Lewis, of Bamfords Auctioneers, Derbyshire, joins us at Alexandra Palace on the 25th to manage our appraisal & valuation service, situated under the Organ, in the Great Hall.
With a wealth of experience and dozens of appearances on different antiques related TV programs, James brings a wealth of experience to our fair and will, no doubt, be making several visitors very happy!
Please note, due to the poplularity of our appraisals & valuation feature, at busy times, we will have to restrict the numbers of items values, per visit, to 3.
Don't Run Into Traffic On The 25th!
Sunday 25th is the same day as the London Marathon, which starts in Greenwich Park and finishes outside Buckingham Palace. This will undoubtedly cause traffic woes to visitors from the south and east of London.
Please remember that Alexandra Palace is a short, complimentary (from 9.00am), bus ride from Wood Green Underground station, on the Piccadilly line and Alexandra Palace main line station.
From Buckingham Palace, at the end of the marathon, a 5-10 minute walk to Green Park tube should get you to the fair in under 45 minutes!
