The Abbey Fairs Art Deco fair at Taunton scheduled for 11th July 2010 has been cancelled.

New Decofairs event at Tunbridge Wells

Decofairs are pleased to announce their second new event for 2010 at Tunbridge Wells to be held on Sunday 28th November at The Spa Hotel, Mount Ephraim, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN4 8XJ.

The elegant 4 star former 18thc. Country Mansion stands in 14 acres of parkland only a short walk from the Town Centre and therefore offers a prestigious setting for a quality twice a year Art Deco Fair. Located only 10 minutes from the A26 and within easy distance of Brighton Eastbourne Hastings and London.

Decofairs invite Dealers in original goods from the 1920's to the 1970's to take space at this new event at competitive rates.

The Alexandra Palace held by Nelson Events is on 14th November and NOT 28th November as reported on the website.

Decofairs - Lewes Fair a great success!

Decofairs can report that their new Art Deco Fair at Lewes Town Hall on Sunday 16th May was fully booked with stallholders and busy all day with visitors. This new event has been acclaimed a success!

The next date at Lewes was planned for Sunday 11th July but Decofairs have learned that this will be the date for the British Grand Prix and The World Cup Final. The next Fair at Lewes will now be on Sunday 21st November and it is expected that the venue will become a regular fixture in the Art Deco Fairs calendar with dates secured for 2011.

Abbey Fairs Bournemouth Art Deco Fair has been changed to Sunday 07 November from Sunday 14th November 2010. The Kelham Hall Fair has been changed to Sunday 28th November 2010 from Sunday 7th November 2010.

Joining us at Alexandra Palace will be the team from BBC's Bargain Hunt, filming some more programs, like the two shown a few weeks ago.

We are proud to announce that James Lewis, of Bamfords Auctioneers, Derbyshire, joins us at Alexandra Palace on the 25th to manage our appraisal & valuation service, situated under the Organ, in the Great Hall.
With a wealth of experience and dozens of appearances on different antiques related TV programs, James brings a wealth of experience to our fair and will, no doubt, be making several visitors very happy!
Please note, due to the poplularity of our appraisals & valuation feature, at busy times, we will have to restrict the numbers of items values, per visit, to 3.

Don't Run Into Traffic On The 25th!
Sunday 25th is the same day as the London Marathon, which starts in Greenwich Park and finishes outside Buckingham Palace. This will undoubtedly cause traffic woes to visitors from the south and east of London.
Please remember that Alexandra Palace is a short, complimentary (from 9.00am), bus ride from Wood Green Underground station, on the Piccadilly line and Alexandra Palace main line station.
From Buckingham Palace, at the end of the marathon, a 5-10 minute walk to Green Park tube should get you to the fair in under 45 minutes!
